You're advised to install Avira AntiVir because it's a free Anti-Virus and it's better than Norton.

Please be advised that Nortons is one of the very worse antivirus in the world. Plus a hugh resource hog. And the software is not free, but expensive. Plus the software will just about destroy your PC, if and when you go to add/remove to delete. Leaves behind over 375 fragments glued to your registry files/folders and subsystem. You will play hell trying to remove this conflict.

Nortons does not even find viruses, and when one is found has trouble deleting.

If you want a really good antivirus that is rated up there with kaspersky and NOD, download the free version of this antispyvirus from Germany.
