Which is the best antivirus for windows xp & vista?

Nod32 is quite good

Or Ca Antivirus

Both are vista compatible

Norton is NOT recommended. It's a resorce hog, and not the best solution for vista, and it uses plenty of resouces on it's own.

Let me explain something: No there is no such thing as "free" in this business. I am not going to code a program for "free". Give it some thought. Now, Norton, well, Norton admitted a few months ago that it hid the fact it couldn't remove a particular virus fro it's own computers. IMHO, that means "scratch" Norton, too. F-Secure is top of the line. It's hard to beat and every computer that leaves this company has it installed. I am not a dealer/reseller for them. I have nothing to gain, except to tell you it's that good. One drawback: it likes a lot RAM to work properly.

If you want free... then I suggest either Avast or AVG Free.

For a paid antivirus, I suggest Kapersky, It's rated #1 at most sites.

ANTI VIRUS

1.Kaspersky: http://www.kaspersky.com/downloads...

2.Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/programs.html.....
