Clamwin is 'safe', but not real functional.

Clamwin is only an *on-demand* antivirus, with no *real-time* protective ability:

"Please note that ClamWin Free Antivirus does not include an on-access real-time scanner. You need to manually scan a file in order to detect a virus or spyware." (*)Source.

The only real purpose I can see Clamwin having is as a 'second opinion' to your real-time antivirus, because with no real-time protection it won't conflict with any other AV.

Yeah it seems to search thru everything with a tooth comb. However it doesnt have real time protection!
