What's the best AntiVirus program to have on your computer?

Norton, Avast, Verizon, and who else.

What's the best AntiVirus program to have on your computer?pc security

Hello,

The best Anti-Virus is Kaspersky because it has the highest Virus detecting rate and it has hourly updates.

Avast! is ridiculous because it has only one update per day and his Virus detecting rate is about 30%.

i got windows live onecare works well
Truthfully.....there is no best antivirus program. None surpass another mainly because they all fluctuate. Personally though, what I use is avg antivirus-free version. No antivirus program is perfect, which also makes it so none can be the best. In the end it all depends on your preferences.
Which ever one works best for you. The 'best' program might totally confuse a newcomer and be, in effect, useless. Lots of people will recommend AVG free.

In *independent* tests, NOD32 and Kaspersky are generally found to be best at finding and removing malware. Norton is also quite good. McAfee is pretty average.

ive done tech for internet for years and the best one in my option is avg = free, works well
Try one of the all-round security suites, which tune up you pc on a regular basis as well as protecting from threats.
