try avast i uesed to have norton but changed it for avast its good free and updates daily.allso you can run spy bot along side it which is allso free.
I use both Spybot search and destroy and Ad-Aware SE personal, and they work really well plus they are free. I see people say the AVG is good, well I tried it for myself and downloaded it and tried it out. It did not find one virus after two tries. Then I ran the ad-aware and viruses poped up. The I use spybot to check to see if ad-aware removed all the viruses and it did. I recommend Spybot and Ad-aware
AVG....go to www.grisoft.com to try a 30day free trial. If you like it they have different packages, some free, some you have to pay for. I swear by AVG...I got a trojan virus a few weeks ago and it saved my laptop. Good Luck
