Both Norton and McAfee make excellent anti-virus programs. The important thing is to use the update function weekly, because new viruses are written all the time.

Anti-spyware is also neccessary- I am running Allume

Clean Sweep, and have it set so I have to OK every time my computer accesses a site. I had my identity stolen twice this year- but not since Clean Sweep.
Norton Anti Virus - download it from Limewire.com and follow the instructions for installation so that you don't have to pay for it.
I like EZ-Anti virus.. it's small and doesn't try and take over your computer like Norton or some of the others.. It works very well.. It's also usually cheaper then the others..

I like it cuz it uses little memory and cpu usage. It also does background scanning, and does http scanning to block the download of virus web files b4 they even load in your internet browser...

Try AVG by Grisoft, I find it is the best so far and it has a free edition.
