Hey, I use Avira antivir too - cool! (Personally, I prefer it to Avast...)

Avscan.exe is right; the default argument is wrong.

Use these arguments in Dowwnload Statusbar%26gt;Options%26gt;Virusscan%26gt;Arguments

Anti-Virus program location:

Code:

C:\Program Files\AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium\avscan.exe

Arguments:

If you want the scanner window to always remain open after scanning a downloaded file:

Code:

/GUIMODE=1 /PATH="%1

If you want the scanner window to automatically close after scanning a downloaded file:

Code:

/GUIMODE=2 /PATH="%1

IMPORTANT: Consider configuring AntiVir to alert you when malware is detected. Do this under Configuration %26gt; [Expert mode enabled] %26gt; Scanner %26gt; Scan %26gt; "Action for concerning files" set to Interactive. Otherwise, you won't receive an alert if malware is detected (which doesn't mean you will be in danger of activating it).

I wish I could claim the credit....

good luck.
