Yes allow this as its one of the plus's of using

Avast%26lt;%26gt;it does a QUICK BOOT scan Every time

you start your computer of the programs that are

starting up and all other A/V should do this in my

opinion, but don't.Spybot are just informing you

this is being setup.Startup is a crucial time and

with AVAST you have chosen wisely.Try it and

you will hardly notice it .You do NOT have to use

if you REALLY do not want it.

ADDITIONAL.

This is from the link below, scroll to features.

You should be saying%26lt;%26gt;I DO want that.

Boot-time scan 鈥?through the program interface, a user can schedule a boot-time scan to remove viruses that load during Windows startup and are therefore difficult to remove. A very important feature especially for viruses written to shut-down the virus protection as soon as Windows starts

No, spybot is letting you know that a new program added itself to your strtup, it will start your antivirus when the computer starts, it won't scan each time, just run in the background, hopefully stopping malicious software from running, click it's ok to allow.
Boot execute is a part of the program that tells spybot to scan your computer when you start it up everyday.. this is not really necessary to be honest.
type msconfig in run in start menu...
