i use trend mirco office scan. it does auto scans and you can get it to scan any file, drive, or the whole computer individually at any time. also deletets viruses, maleware, etc.... its connected to a huge database with all the virus names and threat levels. and instructions to delete them if the program cant (never had to use tht though) and you can leave it running in the background constantly scanning your computer but one file at a time and slowly so it dosnt slow your other programs.

i dont know the cost though
