I just installed an antivirus cd onto my laptop. Can I use the same disk and install it on my deskto

typically no - 1 cd or license per machine - but check the license agreement with the software - maybe they allow multiple machines

Not legally... One copy = one computer on most any software



Check out AVG, it is free and you can install it on as many computers as you wish

Not usually unless it specifically says that it's for use on more than 1 computer....which is what I bought. It costs only a few dollars more, and I can use it on up to 3 pc's....
This depends on your cd package, Try to install with the same key ( what you have used for laptop) for your desktop.If it is installed no problem continue to register with the same key, if it's not installing giving some error means that key is for one machine.



If it is not installing try out some Good Free Antivirus software.
no because they make it so you can only install it once. so you are then forced to buy another one
